512 grueling miles and 31,000 ft of climbing was the challenge for racers of the HooDoo 500 event recently, taking riders through the beautiful state of Utah, including Red Canyon, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Staircase, Escalante, and Cedar Breaks. On today's episode, we'll be hearing from the overall winner of this year's race, American racer Dave Haase, who rode HooDoo self-supported in the Voyager category, setting two course records and clinching the number one spot on the podium overall, out competing both the self-supported and supported racers.

Let's roll! 🚲💨

I've been an ultra-endurance athlete since 2011. Since then I've bicycled 3,000 miles across the USA to fight human trafficking, participated in the Race Across America (RAAM), ridden twice non-stop from San Jose to Los Angeles (450 miles) and once out-and-back (900 miles), and completed over 50 double centuries, earning me the title of youngest ultra cyclist ever to be inducted into the California Triple Crown Hall of Fame.
